1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RoofingBOM (roofingbom.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

RoofingBOM is a web-based roofing material calculator that helps contractors estimate material quantities for residential roofing projects. The service includes a free calculator tier and a paid Pro subscription with additional features.

3. Estimates only — not a guarantee

All material quantities generated by RoofingBOM are estimates based on the inputs you provide. These estimates are intended as a starting point for your material order, not a final specification. Actual material needs may vary based on roof conditions, installation methods, material brands, and other factors that the calculator cannot account for.

You are solely responsible for verifying all quantities before placing a supplier order.

RoofingBOM is not liable for material shortages, overages, or any costs resulting from reliance on calculator estimates.

4. User accounts

To access Pro features, you must create an account using your phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Pro subscription

The Pro subscription is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the calculator logic
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

7. Intellectual property

All content, code, design, and branding of RoofingBOM are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the service does not grant you any ownership rights.

Content you create (saved jobs, brand settings, templates) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your data.

8. Limitation of liability

RoofingBOM is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep RoofingBOM available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. The offline calculator feature works without an internet connection for basic calculations.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your saved jobs and data will be deleted.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
